Baldwin Boats – on the river, Mildura (Australia) – is owned and operated by Chris and Kim Baldwin.
The business was established in 1974 by Wally Baldwin (Chris’ father). Since that time the reputation for quality products has seen the business grow and expand rapidly. There are three main areas to the business: vessel construction (houseboats, commercial and private vessels), retail (boats and accessories), and service (engine and boat maintenance).
Over the past 46 years Baldwin Boats has continually expanded its operations with the construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and a well laid-out showroom with 2600sqm of floor space; purchased a purpose-built houseboat trailer for the transporting, slipping and launch of vessels up to 40 tonnes; upgraded its on site slipway; improved facilities on the dry-stand area; and upgraded its aluminum fabricating equipment to world-class standards.
The development of the marine retail arm of the business was a logical progression for the business. Located just 600m from the Murray River, it’s a perfect place to launch boats and test marine equipment.
Baldwin Boats is an agent for Mercury/MerCruiser, Stacer, Dunbier, Camero and Mercury Racing. The business also stocks a huge range of accessories for all your boating and skiing needs including KGB, Wavelength, IVY, Radar, Ronix, MotorGuide, Hummingbird, Garmin, Minn Kota, Fusion, Fluidcore, GME, LED Autolamps and many more.
